Welcome to Masihi Store.
Masihi Store is operated by Masihi Sahitya Sanstha, having its principal office at 42 Khan Market New Delhi – 110003. In these Terms and Conditions, “Masihi Store,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the website, while “you,” “your,” “customer” and “user” refer to any person accessing the website or purchasing products from us.
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of masihi.store, including browsing, account creation, placement of orders, payment, delivery, reviews, enquiries and all other services available through the website.
By accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Masihi Store
Masihi Store primarily offers Christian books, Bibles, study materials, devotional publications, gifts, posters, crosses, decorative articles, church-use materials, Communion wafers, unfermented grape juice and other related products.
Our selection may reflect our Christian identity, mission and values. However, the availability of a particular book, author, publisher, translation, product or viewpoint does not necessarily mean that Masihi Store agrees with or endorses every statement, doctrine, interpretation or opinion associated with it.
Products from different Christian traditions, publishers, authors or organisations may occasionally be available. Customers should examine the title, author, publisher, denomination, translation, edition and product description before purchasing.
2. Customers of Every Background Are Welcome
Masihi Store primarily serves Christian individuals, families, churches, ministries and institutions. However, customers are not required to belong to the Christian faith or to any particular church, denomination or organisation in order to browse or purchase products.
We do not ordinarily require customers to prove their religion, church membership or theological position.
Purchasing a Christian product from Masihi Store does not:
- Establish membership in any church, denomination or Christian organisation;
- Represent conversion, baptism, religious commitment or agreement with any doctrine;
- Grant permission to conduct religious ceremonies;
- Establish that the customer is authorised as a pastor, priest, minister, elder or church representative;
- Create any spiritual, ecclesiastical or pastoral relationship with Masihi Store; or
- Mean that Masihi Store endorses the customer’s beliefs, conduct, organisation or intended use of the product.
Masihi Store is a supplier of products and does not determine a customer’s religious standing.
3. Religious and Theological Disclaimer
Books, sermons, commentaries, devotionals, study materials and other publications express the views of their respective authors, publishers or copyright holders.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, such views should not automatically be treated as the official doctrinal position of Masihi Store or its operator.
Product descriptions are provided to help customers identify and evaluate products. They are not intended to constitute:
- Pastoral counselling;
- Theological instruction tailored to an individual;
- Ecclesiastical approval;
- Spiritual diagnosis;
- Legal advice;
- Medical advice; or
- A guarantee of spiritual, emotional or personal results.
Customers should exercise their own judgment and, where appropriate, consult their church leadership, pastor, minister or trusted spiritual adviser.
4. Crosses, Posters and Religious Articles
Crosses, wall hangings, posters, plaques, artwork and similar articles are sold as decorative, commemorative, educational or faith-expression products.
Masihi Store does not claim that any physical object sold through the website possesses supernatural power, guarantees protection, creates healing or produces a particular spiritual result.
The meaning and manner in which such articles are displayed or used remain the responsibility of the customer.
Customers must not use products purchased from Masihi Store to falsely represent themselves as being authorised by Masihi Store, a church, ministry, denomination, pastor or religious institution.
5. Communion Products
Masihi Store may sell Communion wafers, unfermented grape juice and similar products intended for church, ministry, fellowship, family or individual use.
Masihi Store supplies these products as commercial goods. We do not determine:
- Who may administer Holy Communion;
- Who is spiritually eligible to receive Holy Communion;
- Whether Communion must be administered by ordained clergy;
- Whether a particular product satisfies the liturgical or doctrinal requirements of every church;
- How frequently Communion should be observed; or
- Which theological interpretation of Communion should be followed.
Churches, ministries and customers are responsible for determining whether a particular product is suitable under their own beliefs, practices and governing requirements.
Where grape juice is described as unfermented, the description is based on the manufacturer’s declaration, product label and information available to Masihi Store. Customers must store the product according to the instructions on its package. Improper storage or keeping an opened bottle for an excessive period may cause spoilage or changes in the product.
6. Food Products and Customer Safety
Communion wafers, grape juice and any other consumable items sold through Masihi Store are food products.
Customers must carefully examine:
- Ingredient information;
- Allergen declarations;
- Manufacturing and expiry dates;
- Storage instructions;
- Package seals;
- Dietary declarations; and
- Manufacturer warnings.
Communion wafers may contain wheat, gluten or other allergens unless specifically labelled otherwise. Customers with allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements should rely on the product label and seek professional medical advice where necessary.
A food product should not be consumed if:
- It has expired;
- Its seal was already broken;
- Its packaging is swollen, leaking or materially damaged;
- It has an unusual smell, colour, taste or appearance;
- It appears contaminated; or
- Its storage conditions may have been compromised.
Any suspected unsafe, damaged, expired or incorrectly supplied food product should be reported to Masihi Store promptly and should not be consumed.
Masihi Store does not make medicinal, nutritional, healing or therapeutic claims unless such claims are lawfully stated by the manufacturer and permitted under applicable law.
7. Eligibility to Use the Website
You may use this website and enter into a purchase transaction only if you are legally capable of entering into a contract.
A person under the age of eighteen should use the website and place orders only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Where an order is placed on behalf of a church, company, trust, society, institution or ministry, the person placing the order represents that they are authorised to act on behalf of that organisation.
8. Customer Accounts
Some website features may require account registration.
You agree to provide complete, accurate and current information, including your name, address, mobile number and email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
You must notify Masihi Store promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed or used without authorisation.
Masihi Store may suspend or restrict an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, impersonation, abuse, unauthorised access or violation of these Terms.
9. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to display accurate product information, including the title, author, publisher, language, format, dimensions, price and availability.
However:
- Colours may appear differently on different screens;
- Product images may be illustrative;
- Publishers may change cover designs or packaging;
- Minor differences in colour, printing shade, typography, paper, binding or packaging may occur;
- The cover shown may differ from the cover supplied where the publisher has introduced a new design;
- Product dimensions and weights may be approximate; and
- Descriptions supplied by publishers or manufacturers may occasionally contain errors.
Where a particular Bible translation, language, edition, binding, cover or publication year is important, the customer should verify those details before ordering.
A materially different item supplied by mistake may qualify for replacement or refund under our Refund, Return and Replacement Policy.
10. Availability of Products
All products and offers are subject to availability.
Adding a product to a shopping cart or wishlist does not reserve it.
A product may become unavailable after an order is placed because of inventory errors, damage discovered during packing, supplier shortages, discontinuation or other circumstances.
If an ordered product is unavailable, Masihi Store may:
- Contact the customer and offer a suitable alternative;
- Partially fulfil the order with the customer’s agreement;
- Provide store credit with the customer’s consent; or
- Cancel the affected product and issue an applicable refund.
11. Prices and Taxes
Product prices will be displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.
The displayed price may include or exclude delivery charges depending on the order value, destination, product and offer applicable at checkout.
Applicable taxes, shipping fees and other charges will be shown before the order is completed wherever reasonably possible.
Masihi Store may revise prices at any time. A price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.
12. Pricing and Listing Errors
Despite reasonable care, a product may occasionally be listed with an incorrect price, discount, description, image, stock status or technical detail.
Where an obvious or material error is discovered, Masihi Store may contact the customer for confirmation, correct the information or cancel the affected order.
If payment has already been received for an order cancelled because of such an error, the eligible amount will be refunded.
Masihi Store will not intentionally use incorrect pricing or misleading product information to attract orders.
13. Orders and Acceptance
An order placed through the website constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products.
An automated order-confirmation email or message acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.
An order is generally accepted when it has been verified, processed and prepared for dispatch.
Masihi Store may refuse or cancel an order where:
- Payment cannot be verified;
- The product is unavailable;
- The address is incomplete, incorrect or unserviceable;
- The quantity appears unreasonable or intended for unauthorised resale;
- Fraud or misuse is suspected;
- A technical or pricing error has occurred;
- The order violates these Terms or applicable law; or
- Fulfilment is prevented by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
14. Payments
Payments may be processed through banks, UPI services, card networks, payment gateways or other authorised service providers.
Masihi Store does not ordinarily store complete card information.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
- The selected payment method is authorised;
- Sufficient funds or credit are available;
- Payment information is accurate; and
- The transaction is not fraudulent or unlawful.
A payment being debited does not guarantee successful order creation. In cases of failed, interrupted or duplicate transactions, verification may be required with the relevant payment provider.
15. Fraudulent Conduct and Payment Abuse
The following conduct is prohibited:
- Using stolen or unauthorised payment instruments;
- Submitting forged payment receipts or altered transaction screenshots;
- Placing orders using a false identity;
- Falsely claiming non-delivery, missing items or damage;
- Manipulating return or replacement procedures;
- Repeatedly creating accounts to misuse promotions;
- Initiating dishonest or abusive chargebacks;
- Attempting to obtain both a refund and possession of the product;
- Impersonating Masihi Store or its staff; or
- Using the website to facilitate any unlawful activity.
Where fraud is reasonably suspected, Masihi Store may pause fulfilment, request verification, suspend the account, preserve relevant records, contest an improper chargeback or report the matter to payment providers or lawful authorities.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from raising a genuine complaint, disputing an unauthorised transaction, posting an honest review or exercising lawful consumer rights.
16. Dispatch, Shipping and Delivery
Orders are ordinarily processed and dispatched according to the timelines stated in our Refund, Return and Replacement Policy.
Products may be delivered through India Post, private couriers or other logistics providers.
Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by:
- Remote or restricted locations;
- Weather;
- Natural calamities;
- Strikes or protests;
- Curfews or lockdowns;
- Route blockages;
- Government restrictions;
- Courier disruptions;
- Incorrect address information; or
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Masihi Store will take reasonable care in selecting, checking and securely packing products.
After a parcel is handed to the delivery provider, transportation and route management are controlled by that provider. Nevertheless, Masihi Store will remain the customer’s point of contact and will provide reasonable assistance with eligible cases involving material delay, loss, damage or incorrect delivery.
17. Customer Responsibility for Delivery Information
Customers must provide a complete and accurate:
- Recipient name;
- House, building or street details;
- Locality and landmark;
- City and state;
- Postal code;
- Mobile number; and
- Email address, where applicable.
Masihi Store will not be responsible for delivery failure resulting primarily from information incorrectly supplied by the customer.
Additional shipping or return-to-origin charges may apply where a parcel must be sent again because the address was incorrect, the recipient repeatedly remained unavailable or delivery was refused without an eligible reason.
18. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers should inspect the package promptly after delivery.
Any visible damage, missing item, incorrect product, broken seal or suspected defect should be reported within the period stated in our Refund, Return and Replacement Policy.
Customers are encouraged to record an unpacking video for high-value, fragile, food or multi-item orders.
The product, invoice, delivery label and original packaging should be retained until the matter is resolved.
19. Returns, Replacements and Refunds
All returns, replacements, cancellations and refunds are governed by our separately published Refund, Return and Replacement Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Masihi Store does not ordinarily provide returns or refunds merely because:
- The customer changed their mind;
- The product was ordered accidentally;
- The customer selected the wrong book, edition or language;
- The customer disagrees with the content or theology of a book;
- The product did not satisfy subjective expectations; or
- The same product was later found elsewhere at a lower price.
Eligible claims involving defective, damaged, incorrect, materially misdescribed or unsafe products will be handled according to the applicable policy and law.
20. Bulk and Institutional Orders
Churches, schools, ministries, trusts, societies, organisations and resellers may contact Masihi Store for bulk orders.
Bulk orders may be subject to:
- Separate pricing;
- Minimum quantities;
- Advance payment;
- Longer processing periods;
- Special delivery charges;
- Product availability;
- Written quotation terms; and
- Restrictions on cancellation or return.
Where a quotation, purchase order or written institutional agreement contains terms different from these Terms, the specifically agreed written terms will apply to that transaction.
21. Resale and Commercial Use
Products purchased from Masihi Store are ordinarily supplied for personal, family, church, ministry or institutional use.
Products must not be copied, reproduced, repackaged, relabelled or sold as Masihi Store products without authorisation.
Unauthorised resale that misrepresents the source, condition, price, authenticity or affiliation of a product is prohibited.
A customer seeking products for regular commercial resale should contact Masihi Store for approval or wholesale arrangements.
22. Reviews, Comments and User Content
Where the website permits reviews, comments or submissions, users should provide honest and relevant content.
Users must not submit content that:
- Is knowingly false or misleading;
- Contains fabricated allegations;
- Is defamatory or unlawfully threatening;
- Harasses staff, customers, authors or religious communities;
- Promotes hatred or violence;
- Contains obscene or sexually explicit material unrelated to the product;
- Reveals another person’s private information;
- Infringes copyright or intellectual-property rights;
- Contains spam, malware or commercial solicitation; or
- Falsely claims association with a church, ministry or Masihi Store.
Respectful theological disagreement, criticism of a product and genuine negative reviews are permitted. Masihi Store will not remove lawful criticism merely because it is unfavourable.
Masihi Store may moderate or remove content that reasonably violates these Terms.
23. Respectful Conduct
Masihi Store seeks to maintain a respectful environment for customers, staff, churches, ministries and the wider public.
Customers may disagree with a product, author, doctrine or religious viewpoint. However, threats, harassment, abusive communication, deliberate disruption and discriminatory attacks against individuals or communities are not acceptable.
Masihi Store may restrict communication or account access where a person repeatedly threatens staff, abuses support channels, submits fraudulent complaints or intentionally interferes with business operations.
This does not limit a person’s right to pursue a legitimate grievance through lawful channels.
24. Prohibited Website Use
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
- Introduce malware, viruses or harmful code;
- Conduct automated scraping without permission;
- Overload, damage or disrupt the website;
- Circumvent security or purchase restrictions;
- Copy customer or business information;
- Use bots to manipulate prices, stock or promotions;
- Misuse forms, reviews or customer-support systems;
- Misrepresent an association with Masihi Store; or
- Use the website in violation of applicable law.
25. Intellectual Property
The Masihi Store name, logo, website design, original text, graphics, photographs, cataloguing structure and other proprietary website material belong to Masihi Store or are used with permission.
Book covers, titles, extracts, publisher logos, product images and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Nothing on the website grants permission to reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or commercially exploit protected material except where expressly authorised.
26. Copyright Concerns
Masihi Store seeks to respect intellectual-property rights.
A rights holder who believes that material displayed on the website infringes their copyright or trademark may contact us with:
- Their name and contact information;
- Identification of the protected work;
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material;
- Evidence of ownership or authority; and
- A statement explaining the concern.
Masihi Store may remove or restrict disputed content while reviewing the matter.
27. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to payment gateways, courier-tracking pages, publishers, manufacturers, social-media platforms or other third-party services.
Masihi Store does not control every aspect of those external services and is not responsible for their independent terms, privacy practices, security or availability.
Use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms.
28. Privacy and Communications
Personal information is handled according to our separately published Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By placing an order, you consent to receiving transactional communications relating to:
- Payment;
- Order confirmation;
- Dispatch;
- Delivery;
- Account security;
- Returns and refunds; and
- Customer support.
Marketing communications will be managed according to applicable consent requirements and available opt-out mechanisms.
29. Website Availability
Masihi Store aims to keep the website accessible and functional but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The website may be temporarily unavailable because of:
- Maintenance;
- Security updates;
- Hosting failures;
- Network disruption;
- Software errors;
- Cyberattacks;
- Payment-service outages; or
- Circumstances beyond reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.
30. Disclaimer of Warranties
Masihi Store will provide products and services with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable law.
Except for warranties, rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
Masihi Store does not guarantee that:
- Every product will always be available;
- Every product will suit every theological tradition;
- A book will satisfy a customer’s personal expectations;
- Decorative or religious products will produce a spiritual result;
- Website access will be uninterrupted; or
- Third-party services will always operate without error.
31. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Masihi Store will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from:
- Subjective dissatisfaction with a book or product;
- Use of a product contrary to its instructions;
- Improper storage or handling after delivery;
- Unauthorised religious, ceremonial or commercial use;
- Customer-supplied incorrect information;
- Independent conduct of third-party services; or
- Events beyond Masihi Store’s reasonable control.
This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, unsafe or defective goods, material misrepresentation, breach of mandatory consumer obligations or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
32. Customer Responsibility and Indemnity
A customer may be responsible for losses reasonably arising from their:
- Fraudulent conduct;
- Illegal use of the website;
- Infringement of another person’s intellectual-property rights;
- Deliberate damage to the website;
- Impersonation of Masihi Store;
- Unauthorised resale or relabelling; or
- Material breach of these Terms.
This section does not require a consumer to compensate Masihi Store merely for raising a genuine complaint or exercising a lawful right.
33. Suspension and Termination
Masihi Store may suspend or terminate access to an account where there is reasonable evidence of:
- Fraud;
- Repeated payment abuse;
- Harassment;
- Security risk;
- Impersonation;
- Illegal activity; or
- Serious or repeated breach of these Terms.
Where practicable, Masihi Store may give notice or an opportunity to clarify the matter.
Termination will not remove obligations relating to transactions already completed or rights that have already arisen.
34. Force Majeure
Masihi Store will not be considered in breach of these Terms where performance is prevented or materially delayed by events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters;
- Flood, fire, earthquake or severe weather;
- War, terrorism or civil disturbance;
- Riots, protests or strikes;
- Curfew or lockdown;
- Epidemic or public-health restriction;
- Government action;
- Transport or route disruption;
- Postal or courier failure;
- Power, internet or telecommunications failure; or
- Failure of essential suppliers or infrastructure.
Masihi Store will take reasonable steps to reduce disruption and resume performance when circumstances permit.
35. Grievance Redressal
Customers may submit complaints or grievances using the contact details below.
Masihi Store will endeavour to acknowledge a formal consumer grievance within 48 hours and resolve it within a reasonable period, ordinarily not exceeding one month, depending on the nature of the matter and information required from third parties. Subject to applicable consumer-protection rights, disputes will be dealt with by courts, commissions, tribunals or authorities having lawful jurisdiction over the matter.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from approaching an appropriate Consumer Commission, regulatory authority or other forum available under Indian law.

- Law or regulation;
- Business operations;
- Product categories;
- Payment or delivery arrangements;
- Website features; or
- Security requirements.
The revised Terms will be published on the website with an updated effective date.

39. No Waiver
A delay or failure by Masihi Store to enforce a provision on one occasion does not permanently waive its right to enforce that provision later.
40. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund, Return and Replacement Policy, Shipping Policy, product-page information and any specifically agreed written order terms, constitute the agreement governing use of the website and purchases from Masihi Store.
